Loading...PhenObestin 37.5 is an extra strength weight management dietary supplement from MIT Nutra. Designed to be an over-the-counter alternative to prescription diet drugs like Phentermine and Adipex, this product works to suppress appetite and boost energy levels. It even copies the prescription weight loss medication right down to its white tablet with blue specks.

Although PhenObestin 37.5 does not contain the same harsh active ingredients as prescription weight loss drugs, this doesn’t mean that it’s over-the-counter (OTC) ingredients are safe, either. In fact, one look at the ingredients list and what you’ll discover is that this formula is composed of stimulants, including ones that can produce dangerous effects.

When this PhenObesting 37.5 review was written, each tablet (a single serving) contained the following: Caffeine (100 mg) and a Proprietary Blend (245 mg): Phenylethylamine HCL, Theobromine Anhydrous, Yohimbine HCL 99%, Methylsynephrine HCL, N-Methyl-B-Phenylethylamine HCL, Synephrine HCL.

Each and every one of these ingredients is a stimulant and the more stimulants that exist within a product, the greater the risk of certain unpleasant side effects. Among these include: insomnia, headache, digestive upset, jitters, anxiety, restlessness, heart palpitations, rapid heartbeat, irritability, mood swings, high blood pressure, etc.

What’s more, the FDA has warned that the combination of synephrine (a naturally occurring stimulant in bitter orange) and caffeine can be dangerous, even for healthy adults with no medical problems. Combined, these two ingredients increase the risk of serious cardiovascular effects, such as high blood pressure, fainting, heart attack and stroke.

Although MIT Nutra likes to boost its image by advertising its products are made in the USA and PhenoBestin 37.5 is good manufacturing practice – quality assured product, sourced from a GMP certified facility, it clearly has no problem selling a product with dangerous stimulants to consumers. This calls into question the company’s integrity.

Furthermore, it doesn’t back up any of its claims with studies, further raising questions regarding the efficacy of its product and its safety.

Due to the number of stimulants in PhenObestin 37.5 and the fact that it contains both caffeine and synephrine, it is strongly recommended that you choose another OTC dietary supplement that contains safer ingredients if you are seeking an OTC product to assist with weight management. This product is proof that simply because a non-prescription weight management product contains all natural ingredients, this doesn’t mean the ingredients are safe.

That being said, if, for whatever reason, you are considering trying this product, you are strongly encouraged to first speak with your healthcare provider, regardless of whether or not you have a health condition.
