Metabovite review

Metabovite is marketed as a fat burning energy booster and comes from New River Naturals (NRN). It is a lipotropic fat burner and weight loss supplement that functions as a “metabolism multiplier & appetite suppressant”. The claim is that by taking Metabovite, you can experience “Weight Loss Clinic” results without painful shots or expensive bills.

Right away, the manufacturer of this product is making some pretty big claims, which this dietary supplement is unlikely to live up to, in spite of the fact that it supposedly provides an “optimal pound-shedding amino acid profile & 6 fat burning actives to melt stubborn fat and ramp up cellular activity for long-term results.”

Naturally, the only way to know how this product has the potential to perform and positively impact weight loss is to take a look at its ingredients. When this review was written, the Metabovite formula was composed of Ascorbic Acid (50 mg), Thiamine (50 mg), Riboflavin (5 mg), Niacinamide (15 mg), Calcium Panthothenate (5 mg), Pyridoxine (5 mg), Cyanocobalamin (2,500 mcg), Chromium (100 mcg), NRN MIC Complex 250 mg).

Based on the above list of ingredients, this product does contain substances with the potential to burn fat, boost energy and metabolism (e.g. riboflavin, thiamine, niacinamide, etc.) and appetite suppression (e.g. chromium, etc.). That being said, the manufacturer has not backed up any claims it has made about Metabovite with any clinical research. In fact, it doesn’t provide any real information about the formula at all. Therefore, all claims made about this product are completely unsubstantiated. There is no proof that it works or that it is even safe.

What’s more, the New River Natural website goes on to boast that its exclusive Metabovite formula contains NRN MIC Complex (L-Methionine, Inositol, Choline), but doesn’t go into any details of why that matters or how it benefits weight loss, which causes this product to lack integrity.

The suggested use is to take 1 capsule once per day with a glass of water. The recommended dose should not be exceeded. Prior to the use of this or any other dietary supplement, you should first consult a physician. This is particularly important for pregnant or nursing mothers, children under the age of 18 and anyone with a known medical condition and/or who is taking medication (prescription, non-prescription, dietary supplements) to treat this condition or for any other reason.

Overall, Metabovite sounds like a dietary supplement that is all talk with no actual proof of action.
