Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner Review

Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner is a dietary supplement that has been designed to help dieters decrease and curb their appetite, stabilize insulin levels and control blood sugar, as well as promote thermogenesis without the use of stimulants.

It is an over-the-counter (OTC) diet pill from Medi-Weightloss, a company behind a variety of dietary supplements and the Medi-Weightloss Program.

The ingredients in the Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner formula, when this review was written, include: Chromium and a Thermogenic Blend (Decaffeinated Green Tea, Ginger, Gymnema Sylvestre Extract, Capsimax, Carnitine, Bioperine). There is 201 mcg of Niacin per 2 tablet serving and 629 mg of the Thermogenic Blend.

One of this product’s main claims is that it can promote thermogenesis (fat burning) in the body without the use of stimulants. It credits this to the ingredient Capsimax, which is a branded form of capsicum (chili pepper). The official product page for Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner claims that Capsimax has “proven thermogenic effects, and a state-of-the-art encapsulation design.” According to the site, this design enables the controlled release of higher and more effective amounts of capsaicinoid, the heat-producing compounds in capsicum.

As fascinating as this sounds, the site does not backup its claims with scientific research, calling into question the veracity of the claims made and the efficacy of the product. As for the formula’s other ingredients, they are believed to provide the following benefits: Chromium (helps to control insulin and normalize blood sugar levels), Green Tea (aids in fat burning), Ginger (helps with digestion), Carnitine (helps to promote fat metabolism).

Like the effects of capsicum, none of these effects have been clinically proven for weight loss, nor is there any guarantee that taking Medi-Weightloss Fat burner will lead to a decreased appetite or more fat burning.

The suggested use is to take two tablets once per day or 1 tablet, twice per day.

Even though this is a non-prescription product and it does not seem to contain any dangerous stimulants or other ingredients, keep in mind this does not necessarily mean it is safe for everyone to take.

If you are pregnant or nursing, you should first speak with your doctor before taking Medi-Weightloss. Likewise, if you have an existing medical condition and/or are taking medications (prescription or non-prescription) or herbal supplements to treat a health condition, speak with your medical practitioner to make sure this product is safe for you to take. When it comes to your health and achieving optimal weight management goals, it’s always best to ensure that you choose the products that are the most ideal for you specific lifestyle and needs.
